NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER MAY 6TH, 2021

Thursday, May 6th is this years "NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER", an annual observance established by Congress in 1952.
 
This year's theme is;
 
“Lord Pour out Your Love, Life and Liberty”
 
The purpose of the National Day of Prayer is to bring Christians together to pray and emphasize the need to place their faith in the unfailing character of their Creator, who is sovereign over all governments, authorities, and all men. The significance for us as a nation is that it enables us to recall and to teach the way in which our founding fathers sought the wisdom of God when faced with critical challenges and decisions.  It stands as a call for us to humbly come before God, seeking His guidance for our leaders and His grace upon us as a people in 2021.
 
This year’s Theme Verse is
 
2 Corinthians 3:17
 
“Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.”
 
 
Victory Bible Church will be hosting a National Day of Prayer observance on May 6th at 7:00 PM. We will be honoring our country and praying for our nation. We will lift up in prayer our national and local leaders in the executive, legislative and judicial branches of government. We will also lift up in prayer our military, the church, the family, the education system, media and businesses.
 
Please join us as we seek God’s will for the future of this country.
