"Passion of the Cross" -VBC’s largest outreach event of the year begins on Sunday, April 13th at 7pm. When this much company comes at one time we must be ready. If you would like to help; either to call those who attended last year to invite them back or help us with parking or be a greeter or help make follow-up calls to those who profess Christ, we have a place for you. There’s also a need for those who will serve on the prayer team. Many during these days will be saved. You can be a part of this amazing week. Please stop at the table outside the sanctuary and sign up today! Also Invite cards for the Passion of the Cross are available for you to pick up to give to your co-workers, friends, neighbors and family. Stop by the Welcome Desk and pick up yours today.
1.---We are looking for people to serve in our sound/video booth. We will train you. The need is for the 11:00 am service. Usually you will get to go back to your seat right after the praise and worship segment and be in your seat for the rest of the service. We are looking for teens as well as adults. Contact Gary Brown or fill out the form below.
2.---Our safety team/video monitoring ministry has openings as well. You will be trained.
3.---We are looking for men and women who can be involved in the kitchen/banquet ministry at VBC. You should know your way around the kitchen in food preparation, cooking, banquet service, clean up etc. There is a great need for help because of the various dinners that take place at the church.
4.----The Nursery Ministry is in need of two additional ladies/teen girls to serve the third Sunday evening of each month. Please contact Karolyn Summers at 856-404- 4545.
5. ---Child care workers needed for Passion Play Rehearsals. Contact Heather Vaughn (609-704-8784 or 609-377-7369) if you can serve in this important ministry. The Passion Play cannot be produced without child care services.
6. The Men’s Basketball Ministry is looking for men to step up and help out. This ministry meets the first and third Monday night each month at 6:30. Helpers are needed to sign in guests, fellowship with the players and just be a presence to help where needed. Please contact Brian Sacco if you are interested.
